iMcV-Giga-MediaLinX: 10/100/1000 Mbps Switching UTP to Fiber - Triple Speed Converter

Modules in the iMcV-Giga-MediaLinX series provide a switching media conversion between 10/100/1000 Mbps twisted pair networks and 1000 Mbps multi-mode or single-mode fiber. Giga-MediaLinX modules are the most versatile in the industry, featuring seamless auto-negotiation between three Ethernet speeds on the UTP port, and the ability to force speed and duplex via software or hardware settings.

iMcV-Giga-MediaLinX Modules are easy to configure and manage with the GUI-based iView²™ SNMP management application, or with any other SNMP application such as HP OpenView™. iView² runs standalone on Windows NT/XP/2000, as a standalone Java Application for other operating systems, as a plug-in module for HP OpenView, as a Web Server running under IIS or as a Java Web Servlet.

iMcV-Giga-MediaLinX Modules include LEDs to assist in network diagnostics and troubleshooting. Additionally, the LinkLoss and FiberAlert features make isolating cable breaks easier should one occur.

Install iMcV-Giga-MediaLinX modules in the following platforms:  iMediaCenter, iMediaChassis and MediaChassis.

Hot-swappable iMcV-Giga-MediaLinX modules significantly reduce operation costs by allowing other modules within the same chassis to remain up and running during product upgrades, maintenance and troubleshooting.
