MiniMc-Gigabit 1000 Mbps Fiber Converter
MiniMc-Gigabit converts 1000Base-T twisted pair to 1000Base-SX or 1000Base-LX fiber optics for distances up to 70 Km.
Measuring less than 3.5 inches deep and 2 inches wide, IMC Networks’ MiniMc is the smallest media converter in the industry which has both data connections on the same side of the unit, and MiniMc is a fraction of the cost of other alternatives. MiniMc is proudly made in the USA.
MiniMc-Gigabit is available for multi-mode and single-mode fiber as well as single-strand fiber which can effectively double the capacity of installed fiber.
All converters include status LEDs and AutoCross, a feature which automatically selects between a crossover workstation or pass-through connection depending on the connected device.
MiniMc-Gigabit ships with a universal, external switching power cube with 100 - 240 ±10% VAC input and 5V DC output, or use without the power cube to install MiniMc-Gigabit into IMC Networks’ rackmountable IE-PowerTray/18; the very high-density enclosure allows 18 conversions in only 1.5U.
