CCTV Converter
The CCTV Converter series allows easy upgrades to IP network cameras without the cost of rewiring a legacy video cable infrastructure.
Network cameras are becoming the security camera of choice due to their technological advantages and feature-rich functionality. Some of the many benefits of using network cameras, instead of analog camera-based systems, include:
- Easier remote monitoring of video feeds, via a web browser
- More flexible, secure backups to a local or offsite server
- Higher quality images
- Easier expansion using lower cost network cable
Network cameras will not work over the legacy cable of most security installations and replacing a wiring infrastructure is costly, time-consuming and often highly disruptive (i.e. tearing out cable, drilling new holes, etc). The CCTV Converter series converts the network camera's interface to coax, allowing the use of the already-installed analog video cable; re-cabling is not required. Using the existing cabling saves both time and money while adding flexibility to the installation.
