Mix and match fiber types and modes within a network, with the new IE-ModeConverter. By simply replacing an SFP, a new fiber type can be integrated with existing equipment and the fiber plant. Designed for extreme temperature environments, the IE-ModeConverter operates in temperatures ranging from -40 degrees to 85 degrees. Flexible AC or DC powering options, and DIN rail mounting, make this a very versatile product.
Combining flexible copper and fiber interface options, including media conversion, along with port and packet-based traffic prioritization, PD-Switch's rich functionality turns Power over Ethernet (PoE) into extended network range.
Today's network operators benefit from implementing Power over Ethernet (PoE) technology. No electrical wiring is needed, allowing flexibility in placement and design of network solutions such as Wireless Access Points and IP cameras.
The FiberLinX-II solution connects two remote networks over fiber optics. Building on the success of the original FiberLinX solution, the FiberLinX-II offers an advanced-feature set for network management and troubleshooting functions, including Extra-Tagging and EtherType control functionality. With the FiberLinX-II, administrators can observe the end-points, and the fiber link between them, as single management entities and not as separate elements. Host management traffic is not visible to the remote or customer network nor is access to the customer network required, guaranteeing end-to-end data integrity.

IMC Networks once again has the solution. Measuring less than 3.5 inches deep and 2 inches wide, the Giga-MiniMc is the industry's smallest media converter with both data connections on the same side of the unit, and the Giga-MiniMc is a fraction of the cost of other alternatives. Plug-and-play operation and various power options make the Giga-MiniMc easy and convenient to use.

Designed for service providers and campus network administrators, the compact IE-MiniFiberLinX-II provisions point-to-point fiber optic connections and provides a unique management tool to monitor the entire link between two locations. IE-MiniFiberLinX-II CPE for fiber optic networks allows service providers to deliver "triple play" voice, video and data services to customer premises.

The use of SFP modules makes changing fiber requirements within the locations of the network environment easy. Not only offering the flexibility of choosing fiber types, the SFP modules also provide data as well as diagnostic information to assist the end user in the identification and troubleshooting of the pluggable modules.

Our fiber media conversion solutions are in high demand as Ethernet protocol is migrating outside the LAN onto the factory floor, into mines and other industrial applications where networking products are often used in high temperatures and harsh environments.
We are please to announce two new products specifically designed for Industrial Ethernet and for extended temperature range applications:
IE-MiniMc, pictured above, is the Industrial Ethernet version of this popular media converter. The IE-MiniMc will provide a conversion between 10/100 UTP and 100Base-FX multi-mode, single-mode or single-strand fiber. With its high temperature rating, numerous mounting and power options, the IE-MiniMc is the most versatile fiber media converter in the market. The small and rugged enclosure allows you to use IE-MiniMc on a tabletop, wall-mount it, or you can mount it onto a DIN-rail with the enclosed clips.
The IE-MiniMc also features four different power options: you can power it with an AC power adaptor, with a USB cable, via DC terminal blocks that accept a wide range between 5 and 60VDC, or even with Power over Ethernet. All power options can be used at the same time for redundancy if necessary! The IE-MiniMc features an operational temperature range from –35°C up to 70°C
IE-MediaChassis, also pictured above, will accommodate any iMcV-series, singlewide module in industrial Ethernet applications. IE-MediaChassis ships with DIN-rail clips, and with an external AC power adaptor, and it can be powered via the DC terminal blocks that accept a wide range between 5 and 60VDC.
