IMC Networks is committed to zero defects, on-time delivery, customer satisfaction and continual improvement. IMC Networks obtained its original ISO 9001:1994 Quality Management System registration on June 12, 1999.
As of June 11, 2003 IMC Networks successfully registered to the newly adopted version of the standard, ISO 9001:2000. The new standard combines the familiar ISO 9001, ISO 9002 and ISO 9003 standards.
"We continue to be committed to on-time delivery of quality products to our customers," said Michael Dailey, president and chief operating officer of IMC Networks. "Our recent upgrade to ISO-9001 Revision 2000 only re-states that commitment. In fact, we completed the conversion ahead of schedule and before most technology companies."
The new quality system requirements are a radical change from the prior standard, utilizing a more process-based approach. The key highlights are greater management involvement, greater company wide communication, improved resource management, more in-depth measurement and analysis, and a much more focused approach to customer satisfaction.
