Jerry Roby is the founder, chairman and chief executive officer of IMC Networks. Under Roby's leadership, IMC Networks has evolved over three decades from a manufacturer of PC cards, hubs and LAN repeaters into one of the leading manufacturers of Media Converters, optical access and Fiber to the Premises solutions.
Prior to founding IMC Networks in 1988 with Peter Staub, Mr. Roby held a variety of technical management, sales management and corporate management positions with companies such as Sperry UNIVAC and Pertec Computer Corp. Roby majored in Chinese language at Yale University and the University of California at Berkeley. In 1997, he completed the Harvard Business School OPM education program.
As the president and chief operating officer, Michael Dailey is responsible for running the company's day-to-day operations. Dailey has over twenty years of experience in high technology industries, and has held corporate finance positions at several computer companies including Western Digital and Printronix before joining IMC Networks in 1988. Dailey holds a B.S. in Business Administration from San Diego State University.
As the vice president of manufacturing operations at IMC Networks, Murray is responsible for the company's manufacturing operations with a focus on customer satisfaction. Murray was the driving force behind the attainment of the ISO 9001 certification in 1999. Before joining IMC Networks, Murray held various senior management positions during his fifteen years at Alpha Microsystems, most recently as its director of operations. Murray has a B.S. in Business Administration from California State University, Northridge.
As the vice president of engineering at IMC Networks, Craft is responsible for the company's engineering department, which includes development and testing of all of IMC Networks' products. Before joining IMC Networks, Craft was one of the early pioneers in personal computers, holding various positions during his tenures with Jet Propulsion Laboratory, Caltech, Xerox, Hughes Aircraft and AST Research. Craft has a B.S.E.E. from the University of California, Santa Barbara.
Janet Thompson is the vice president of human resources at IMC Networks. Thompson joined IMC Networks shortly after its founding and holds the distinction of being the third employee to join the company after Roby and Staub. In her twenty-two years in the computer industry, she has held a variety of positions in the areas of customer support, order processing and administration. Thompson holds a B.A. in Sociology from Bloomfield College and received her MBA from Pepperdine University.
