IMC Networks Marks 10 Years Of Excellence In Providing International Organization Standards (ISO) For Customers
Foothill Ranch, CA, July 14, 2009 - IMC Networks, a privately-held manufacturer of optical access and media conversion solutions for LAN, MAN, and FTTx applications for Enterprise, government and service providers, today announced that on June 11, 2009 it has once again satisfied the requirements for the international quality standard ISO 9001:2000. This achievement marks the 10th anniversary of the original certification and reflects the Company’s commitment to customer service and delivery of quality products. It also insures that IMC's management systems meet the stringent business standards established by the International Organization for Standards (ISO).

As part of the process, IMC conducts year-round internal audits of its processes to insure that the system is working. This allows IMC to identify opportunities for improvement. Each year a registration audit is conducted by outside ISO auditors representing the NSF-ISR registrars. In recent years there has been a radical change from the prior standard, using a more process-based approach. The key highlights are greater management involvement, greater company wide communication, improved resource management, more in-depth measurement and analysis, and a much more focused approach to customer satisfaction.
