IMC Networks is a leading provider of fiber optic access and media conversion solutions for Enterprise, Government and Service Providers' LANs, First-Mile FTTx networks and Metropolitan Area Networks, delivering 24 years of excellence in product quality, customer satisfaction and value.
IMC Networks' line of SNMP managed media conversion devices lower overall operating costs while reducing the operational complexity of your network. Available in a wide range of protocols and connectors, IMC Networks can meet the needs and demands of your network. The iView² Element Management System (EMS) software is provided at no cost with all managed products. This management system provides an intuitive, real-time GUI for simple configuration, management and monitoring of your IMC Networks managed devices. Offering a variety of protocols including 10/100/1000 Ethernet, T1/E1 and DS3/E3 combined with options such as Power over Ethernet, IMC Networks continues to manufacture superior products that are made in the USA and are backed by a six-year comprehensive warranty* with free US-based technical support.
* SFP transceivers carry a one-year warranty
Unmanaged media converters allow customers to convert multiple protocols and interfaces, such as 10/100Base-T copper to 100Base-F fiber, and extend transmission distances well beyond the limitations of twisted pair cabling. Media converters reduce costs associated with expansion by providing legacy equipment an upgrade path when migrating to different networks. A lower cost alternative to managed media converters, IMC Networks' unmanaged product line is ideal for networks not requiring advanced features such as remote management and monitoring.
Intelligent media converters that are manageable even as standalone devices. Designed with advanced remote management and configuration capabilities, IMC Networks' FTTX products allow service providers to deliver next-generation, managed, high-speed Internet, Ethernet Private Line, and transparent LAN services to businesses, multi-dwelling units (MDUs) and residential customers. MEF certified products, such as the iMcV-Giga-FiberLinX-II, fulfill Carrier Ethernet requirements, guaranteeing high quality service level performance and interoperability.
Network hardware such as media converters, switches and routers that offer small form-factor pluggable (SFP) ports allow network operators to customize fiber types and speeds without having to replace costly hardware. IMC Networks' SFP transceivers are available in hundreds of configurations including copper, duplex and single-fiber, CWDM and Extended Diagnostics (DDMI). Cisco compliant SFP transceivers are also available. All of IMC Networks' SFPs are MSA compliant, rated for Industrial Ethernet (IE) applications and carry a full one-year warranty.
